These terms cover your use of onyxcarts.com and any quote or order placed with OnyxCarts, a division of GCS Group. By using the site you accept them.

Quotes and pricing

Prices in the configurator are estimates in Canadian dollars. Any US dollar figure is an approximate conversion. Your final, binding price is the written quote we send you. Quotes are valid for the period stated on them and can change with the specification, taxes, registration, customs or duties, or freight to your address.

Orders, deposits and payment

An order is confirmed when you approve a written quote and pay the deposit, normally 50%. The balance is due before your cart ships unless we agree otherwise. Custom builds are made to your specification and may not be cancellable once production starts, except where the law requires.

Delivery

We deliver across Canada and the continental US. Timelines such as the 21-day build plus transit are good-faith estimates, not guarantees. Risk passes to you on delivery, so please inspect the cart when it arrives and report any transit damage promptly.

Street-legal use and registration

Carts with the LSV package are built to the Low-Speed Vehicle standard. Whether a low-speed vehicle can be registered and driven on public roads, and on which roads, depends on your province or state. You’re responsible for confirming and following local law. We’ll help point you to the requirements, but we don’t promise that a cart can be registered or driven in any particular place.

Warranty

Carts come with a manufacturer-backed limited warranty as described on the warranty page. Except as stated there, and as far as the law allows, products are provided without other warranties.

Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid for the product involved, and we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses.
