Which size should I get?

Go by how many people you usually carry. The Onyx 2 seats two and is the most compact, at 2.45 m, for property runs, errands and tight paths. The Onyx 4 seats four and is the one most people order. The Onyx 6 seats six in a 4+2 layout and is 3.65 m long, for resorts, big families and shuttle duty. Battery, paint, seat, wheel and roof options are the same on all three.

Which battery should I choose?

Lead-acid has the lowest price and runs 35 to 45 km, enough for short trips on flat ground. Lithium 48V, up to 80 km, costs more but needs no maintenance, weighs less and charges faster. The 72V extended pack, up to 110 km, adds the most torque, for hills and full days without a top-up.

How do the lithium batteries charge, and how long do they last?

They plug into a standard outlet through the on-board charger. The LiFePO₄ packs are maintenance-free and rated for about 3,000 charge cycles.

What comes standard?

Every Onyx, whatever the size, comes with:

You get the exact size, battery, paint, seats, wheels and extras you want, at a price you see before you commit, instead of settling for whatever is in stock.

How much is the deposit, and when is the rest due?

50% confirms your build and locks your delivered price. The balance is due before your cart ships. You'll get a clear invoice with accepted payment methods.

Can I see my cart before I pay in full?

Yes. We photograph your actual cart before it ships, and the balance isn't due until you've seen it. If you'd rather talk it through first, email sal@onyxcarts.com and we'll set up a call.

Do you take fleet orders?

Yes, with no minimum. Resorts, rentals and venues choose from the same options as anyone else, and we quote the whole order together, including fleet pricing. Tell us how many carts you need and how they'll be used.

What does delivery cost? Are duties included?

Your quote is an all-in delivered price for most of Canada and the continental US. For remote or island addresses, and any US import duties, we put the exact figure in writing before you pay anything.

How long does it take?

Most builds are ready about 21 days after your deposit, then it's transit time to you. Your quote includes an estimated delivery window for your region.

Can I drive it on the road where I live?

Without the LSV package, a cart is for private property and the trails or communities that allow golf carts. With the Street-legal LSV package it's built to the Low-Speed Vehicle standard, with a VIN, lights, seatbelts, mirrors and horn. Whether you can register it, and on which roads, depends on your province or state. Tell us where you are and we'll help you check before you order.

What warranty comes with it?

Every Onyx has a manufacturer-backed limited warranty. The coverage periods for your build are listed on your written quote, and we're happy to walk you through them before you order.
